2-1.   Number of courses conducted for new CNS/ATM system basic training

The Vietnamese C/P has developed the New CNS/ATM Systems Training “Basic Course”. The training plan is under preparation with starting of actual training in mid 2013.

CAAV, VATM, ACV and VAA will have organized and conducted basic training courses of the new CNS/ATM systems at least 3 or 4 times in 2014 and 2015.

2-2.   Ratio of air traffic controllers and air navigation technical staff who have completed the new CNS/ATM system basic training course

Nil. The training plan is under preparation with a target of 40% coverage by the end of 2013.

100% of CAAV technical staff members and VATM/ACV air traffic controllers and air navigation technical staff will have attended and completed in-house training programs at basic level for the new CNS/ATM systems.

2-3.   Number of instructors who can operate and improve the new CNS/ATM system basic training courses

16 officials have completed instructor training on Basic Course and are capable of operating and improving the course.

VATM, ACV and VAA will have 10 instructors who can operate and improve basic training courses for the new CNS/ATM systems.

2-4.   Number of courses conducted for new CNS/ATM system advanced training

Nil. Advanced courses will be started in 2014.

CAAV, VATM, ACV and VAA will have organized and conducted advanced training courses of the new CNS/ATM systems at least 2 to 4 times in 2014 and 2015.

2-5.   Ratio of air traffic controllers and air navigation technical staff who have completed the new CNS/ATM system advanced training course

Nil. Advanced courses will be started in 2014.

40% of CAAV technical staff members, and VATM/ACV air traffic controllers and air navigation technical staff will have attended and completed in-house training programs at advanced level for the new CNS/ATM systems.

2-6.   Number of instructors who can operate and improve the new CNS/ATM system advanced training courses

Instructor training on the advanced course will be started in 2013.

VATM, ACV and VAA will have 6-10 instructors who can operate and improve advanced training courses for the new CNS/ATM systems.
